Ali Malek Marzban – Freelance Senior Art Director

ALI MALEK MARZBAN

Freelance Senior
Art Director

At home in classic and digital worlds. I combine modern tools - including AI - to get the most out of every idea: solving problems, inventing new mechanics, shooting ideas. Always trying new things and breaking old habits.

I’m a freelance Senior Art Director based in Cologne (Köln), Germany, known as Monkeygrey. After years at agencies like BBDO, DDB, Proximity Worldwide and thjnk in Düsseldorf, I’ve been freelancing since 2021 - for brands such as Fielmann, Pernod Ricard, Persil, netD and helping agencies during pitches or optimizing inhouse design units at companies. I combine art direction with AI tools to develop, visualise and produce ideas faster. Available for remote freelance projects.
